If young men are sober, abundant in good works, doctrinally uncorrupt, serious, sincere, of solid speech that can’t be spoken against; the devil will be ashamed and the Lord will be magnified.

If a woman is pure, self governed, an encourager and teacher to younger women, to be pure and submissive to their husbands [or fathers (implied)], and to love their children; the Lord’s Word will be magnified and unashamed.

His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting for we that fear Him! He is merciful and gracious, and he is slow to anger.
He doesn’t always chide, and will not be angry forever.
He has pity on us that fear Him.
He knows our frame, and remembers that we are but dust.
He rules over all!
